Bridenstine votes against Sandy relief

Congressman Jim Bridenstine voted against a proposal to increase the borrowing authority of the Federal Emergency Management Agency by $9.7 billion, or 47%, to fund the shortfall in the National Flood Insurance Program covering the Hurricane Sandy damages.

I completely agree with him. If Congress continues to spend money it doesn't have, the country will bankrupt. I can't imagine how hard of a decision it was for him to make. I hope that he would make the same decision if our state had a huge disaster.
