Saturday, the Brookside merchants kicked off the annual Boo HaHa Parade and Festival in midtown. Crowds up to 15,000 were anticipated to celebrate Halloween on Brookside.

Trick-or-treating kicked off the festival at 11 a.m. Saturday. After trick-or-treating, all children were invited to participate in the children's costume contest. After the children's contest there was a pets costume contest. The festival concluded with the Boo HaHa Parade, which started at 3 p.m.

FOX23 was at the Boo HaHa Parade and the kid's festival on Brookside Saturday talking with participants and celebrating Halloween.
