The Grand River Dam Authority Police Department recovered the body of a 60 year-old man from the waters of the Grand River on Thursday evening.

A fisherman discovered the body in an area of the river roughly one quarter mile east of Big Cabin Creek, in the northern end of Lake Hudson.

GRDA was notified and officers responded to the scene and removed the body from the water. It was turned over to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner.

Further details will be released as the investigation continues.
