Body discovered in the Neosho River

Police with the Grand River Dam Authority pulled a body from the Neosho River.

The unidentified body was found Tuesday afternoon in a shallow area of the Neosho River east of Fairland.  At this point, they have not established the gender or age of the body.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been contacted to help the investigation.
