The Folds of Honor Foundation is the official charity for the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society as of the Bassmaster Classic weekend in downtown Tulsa.

The Folds of Honor Foundation donates to military families who have made sacrifices for our country. They provide college scholarships for those military children.

“The money we raise here will change lives and empower the families who get to experience this really epic event here in Tulsa,” said the Folds of Honor founder, former F-16 pilot with the Air National Guard, Major Dan Rooney.

“It's not just about angling, it's a great American tradition that wouldn't exist if we were not free,” said Major Rooney.

“On Friday night we raised 10,000 from anglers and angler fans here at the Bassmaster Classic, it was amazing,” said Rooney.

On Sunday there will be 14 military families on stage with Major Rooney that have all made a sacrifice for our country. Rooney hopes to raise more money for the Folds of Honor to honor those families.

You can also Tweet #Bigcatch and every time you do, one dollar will go to the Folds of Honor Foundation through Bassmasters partner, Toyota.
