Mitt Romney announced the support of Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett for his presidential campaign.

“I’m happy to earn Mayor Bartlett's support, as well as the support of other leaders in the Tulsa area,” said Mitt Romney. “The people of Tulsa want bold conservative leadership in the White House. They realize we can’t expect someone who’s lived in Washington to change it. I look forward to working with Mayor Bartlett and these leaders to bring this message to Oklahoma voters in the months to come.”

“I’m proud to endorse Mitt Romney,” said Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett. “The last three years of failed leadership in Washington have left Oklahomans looking for someone who will not only talk the talk, but will actually implement conservative policies to get our country back on track. Mitt Romney has outlined bold reforms that will get our country on track and enable Oklahoma to be a leader in our recovery. Mitt Romney has proposed policies that will allow Oklahoma to develop our own resources and expand our economy. That is exactly what we’re looking for in Washington. I urge my fellow conservatives to join me in standing with Mitt.”

Representative Earl Sears of Bartlesville and former Speaker of the State house Todd Hiett of Kellyville also announced support for Romney.

Oklahoma’s primary will be on March 6th.
