Bartlesville police say a 17-year old accidentally brought a gun to school property on Thursday.

A loaded handgun was found when school officials were checking vehicles in the parking lot. A school resource officer arrested the teen.

Police say the teen had borrowed his older brothers truck and did not know there was a gun inside.

The student was released to the custody of his parents, which is typical in non-violent juvenile arrests.

Bartlesville prosecutors will want his head on a platter, like they did the kid who simply ran his mouth about wanting to blow up his school. Come on, Alice Cooper used to sing about that, but Bartlesville will cry "wolf" one time too many and no one will be paying attention.
