Labor disputes at an airline in Ireland are causing some trouble for a group of students and parents from Bartlesville.
On Sunday, FOX23 reported nearly 300 students, parents and band directors from Bartlesville, all members of the Bartlesville High School Band, went to Ireland to perform in a St. Patrick’s Day parade. The students were going to spend spring break in the country before coming home.
A large part of the group, around 250 people, arrived home on Friday night. A cancelled flight and labor disputes are making it harder for the remaining 30 people to get home.
They are expected to make it home in the next few days and are sightseeing until then.
