Bartlesville police arrested a woman after she was accused of stabbing her husband to death outside of their home.
Stacy Ann Thompson, 33, was taken into custody on Sunday morning, she faces charges of first degree murder.
Authorities responded to the call around 1:30 a.m.
Neighbors told FOX23 they watched Thompson stab 33-year-old Bobby Thompson to death.
"They were fighting all night long," said the neighbor living directly across the street from the Thompson's rented home at 11th and South Maple.
"I watched him slap her across the face and she forced him to leave and he came back several times and then she kept him outside and that's when the stabbing started," said the neighbor.
Other neighbors, the Bridges and the Johnsons have been friends for more than 20 years.
"Ever since the Thompsons moved in they have been nothing but problems for this neighborhood," said Johnson. "We have a safe and children friendly street here where my grandkids and Tammy's kids play together. I was freaked out and scared when I heard that woman stabbed her husband to death. I just keep a much closer eye on my kids when they are playing outside."
"I don't want people to think this is a bad neighborhood because of that murder this morning (Sunday)," said Tammy Bridges. "This is a safe neighborhood."
Police found Mr. Thompson dead in the front yard of the Thompson's home.
Police are still waiting for a medical examiner's investigation reports.
