aleman- I was just telling my mother the same thing! When I was in school, every boy drove a truck, with a gun rack, and a rifle. No one ever dared to think about planning violence in the school. Parents spoke to each other, and if you were spotted out of school during the day by anyone, your parents knew right away. Disputes were settled on the railroad tracks at lunchtime, and the parties involved were fine the next day. We had a sense of community, you knew your neighbors, and you stayed involved in what was going on around you. These days, people expect to park the kids in front of the tv and go on about your business, and expect them to develop a sense of right and wrong from whatever Zombie show is popular that week. Guess what? It's not working...

What the hell is going on in these schools!?Everyday with the shootings, threats to shoot up a school, gang fights, lockdowns, armed intruders...bunch of spoiled rotten pampered little wimps. When I was in school we didn't even have cops at school and there were a lot more of us in those days,we might have a couple of good old fashioned fist fights, but I don't remember one incident like this happening, back then we all had access to guns as most of our dads hunted and nobody ever shot up a school, think maybe the liberal approach to education and discipline has failed horribly
