“As we celebrate our fifth anniversary, I reflect on the great moments SMG has shared with the community, and I am amazed at what we have done together,” said SMG General Manager John Bolton. “Through the community support, promoter’s willingness to bring shows to Tulsa and the support of an amazing staff, we have created something special at the BOK Center.
“We have several exciting announcements still to come as we wrap up the fifth anniversary concert series and look forward to 2014,” Bolton added.
Through the first half of 2013, the BOK Center hosted 13 of the top 100 tours including: Justin Bieber, Maroon 5, and two Paul McCartney dates.
The O2 (London) topped the overall rankings and the Barclays Center (Brooklyn) garnered the top United States spot. Several other SMG facilities made the top 100 including INTRUST Bank Arena (ranked 26th) and Chesapeake Energy Arena (ranked 27th).
