Broken Arrow's water issues have trickled down to area businesses. Many have lost money, because their services are limited.

The city is under a boil order until results come back from tests on the water. A water line break on Tuesday has caused water shortages in the city.

There was no shortage of smoke at Potbelly's Pub and Grill in Broken Arrow.

Conversations among regulars stretched from casual to personal, but Wednesday the hot topic was water.

"You're afraid to wash your clothes, you're afraid to do your dishes," said customer Linda Gafford.

FOX23 stopped by during happy hour, but business was dry.

"It's not so happy today," said Potbelly's owner, Ben Bouie.

Broken Arrow's water issues are hampering Bouie's business.

"We've lost a lot," he said, "Not being able to operate at full capacity."

Even on ladies night, few customers were around to take advantage.

"There's no food, there's no nothing. They're serving out of plastic cups," said Gafford.

Bouie sent his kitchen crew home Wednesday. They couldn't cook, per city orders. Bartenders used plastic cups, because they couldn't wash glassware, but they were allowed to serve drinks out of a bottle. They could also mix drinks as long as the
ice came from some place other than Broken Arrow.

"I think we're probably over-staffed right now," said Bouie.
