An Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigators agent found a child pornography video on the Internet and began looking for the person who distributed it.

The agent's search led him to Brandon Dycus, a 19-year-old from Broken Arrow.

This has been on ongoing investigation since Oct. 7, 2013.

The OSBI agent accessed the Internet from a certain IP address.

Once accessed, the agent downloaded two different videos containing child pornography.

OSBI then subpoenaed the subscribers information and a search warrant was carried out at Dycus's last known residence.

Authorities arrived to Dycus's aunt's home, who said she let him live there with her sister for a few months but they moved out Dec. 1.

Dycus was then found at Walmart on 121 St. in Broken Arrow.

When approached by Broken Arrow officers, Dycus went willingly to the BA Police Department and signed a consent form to search his laptop computer.

The computer was seized from his mother's residence in Broken Arrow.

Dycus is being held in the Tulsa County Jail on possession of child pornography, computer crimes act and distribution of child pornography.

His bond is set for $36,000.

So a 19-year-old posted pictures of his girlfriend? This is not what child pornography laws were meant to be, and if TPD were serious about childporn, they would have aggressively gone after one of their own who was in the news last year.
