Arrest made in double murder at a South Tulsa QuikTrip

Tulsa say a man has been arrested for a double murder outside a south Tulsa QuikTrip.

The U.S. Marshal's office arrested 19-year-old Jermaine Jackson around 12:30am in Marianna, Arkansas. He is in the process of being extradited back to Tulsa.

The shooting happened at the QuikTrip near 71st and Riverside just before 1:30am Saturday. Tulsa police have identified the two victims as 18-year-old Kristjan Thorsson and 37-year-old John White. Thorsson died from his injuries on Saturday. Police say White died from his injuries on Monday.

Police say when they arrived they found the two victims in a car parked in a nearby lot. They discovered the men had been in the car arguing with another man standing near the vehicle. The suspect then pulled out a handgun and fired shots inside the car. White tried to drive away, but only managed to get to a nearby church parking lot before stopping. The suspect ran from the QuikTrip parking lot.

Tulsa police homicide detectives worked with fugitive warrants officers and agents with the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force to locate Jackson.

everybody can believe what they want to hear about it being a road rage incident but this definitely had something to do with drugs. i personally knew one of the victoms and he had some private issues with some bad choices he had made and this is how stupid people handle thigs. if this was really over some kind of bogus road rage than that is one ignorant son of a ***** and i aree with mustangman. put him in the car and crush it. and do it while his family and the family of the victims are right there to watch it get done slowly so he has plenty of time to think about what he has done. Road rage...Ppppppssssssshhhh Really? cuz Quick Trips parking lot is so huge and big enough to get road rage...

These coward gang bangers think they are tough,but only with a group or a gun in their hand against an unarmed man,the real Mafia would have run these little weeners out of town in two days.Our wonderfull but mentally challenged neanderthal leaders refuse to do anything about it,oh they will do a pre-announced crackdown for the benefit of the media but any real crakdown won't happen because they are afraid of offending someone after all we had a race riot four generations ago and we owe,owe,owe.

The police didn't find him...he turned himself in. So don't go patting the police on the back. It is a shame that they take credit for things clearly when credit is not due.

To all the agency's involved in this case "job will done" Now, bring this kid back to Tulsa. Run him through the Oklahoma court system. Place this gang member in state prison for life. On his first night in prison, lock this kid up with an MS13 gang member. This poor kid with the fear in his eyes will never know what cut him. "enough is enough the gang members in Tulsa should learn from the textbook crime solving the police here are that good and the citizens here are tired of the violent crimes"

I think this one was a road rage incident. So AWFUL!!!!! I cannot believe people! How on earth could you get mad enough to kill someone? There is no respect for human life :(
