The Wagoner County Sheriff’s office arrested a man for the death of a woman last week.

Deputies arrested 22-year old Joshua Addington on a complaint of first degree murder for the strangulation death of 30-year old Brooke Kinas. Kinas was killed on Dec. 29. Deputies say her death was the result of domestic violence as she was trying to end a relationship with Addington.

Deputies said the death was initially called in as a suicide, but information at the crime scene and follow up interviews determined that was not the case. Deputies say there had been a history of domestic violence.
