Tulsa fire crews responded to an apartment fire in East Tulsa.

FOX23 learned the fire broke out at the Cimarron Apartment complex near 31st street and 132nd East Ave. It took nearly 30 minutes to contain the fire, and we've learned sixteen units have been heavily damaged.

Many residents have been evacuated. Neighbors report hearing an explosion. Red Cross is assisting fire victims.
