A Coweta teen is fighting cancer, again.
Endurance is a fighter's greatest strength. Some build it over time; others realize they have it when they need it most.
The strongest person at a race in Coweta hasn't crossed the finish line yet.
"I'm going to hit it hard, because I know God's got me," said Morgan Mitchell.
Mitchell has battled cancer four times in the last three years. Her short hair is a symptom of chemotherapy, but Mitchell's smile is a symptom of her faith.
"I will make it; I have this," said Mitchell.
Runners filled the streets of Coweta to fight with Mitchell.
Last December, residents came together for Morgan's Run to raise cash for the teen's family. Medical bills continued to pile up.
Somehow, Mitchell managed to overlook that; she helped organize the All 4 One 5K.
The run will help raise money for Mitchell's family, as well as families fighting childhood cancer.
"For me to come out here, it helps. It's an awesome turnout," said Mitchell.
FOX23 told you the good news last week: Mitchell was cancer free.
However, as she watched runners finish the race, she knew what they didn't: she still has a ways to go.
"I'm just not going to give up; I can't quit," said Mitchell.
A doctors visit just a few days ago revealed Mitchell has cancer again.
Mitchell has asked for prayers as she continues her battle against cancer.
