The problem is Tulsa still has the small town mentality from 60 years ago when downtown was the place to be,we were the oil capital,voted Americas' most beautiful city,the city limits were Yale on the east and 31st on the south.The problem is the ruling class cannot let go of this.Those days are long gone,they need to look beyond those boundries and see whats going on.

Tulsa? Image problem ?-) way before this, the writers of Friends knew that Tulsa had a problem. It wasn't clearly stated. But it was known that Tulsa was a great place to go nowhere. In the 50's- the mid 70's Tulsa was considered a nice little family town. Now if your families are into gang banging, driveby shootings, random shootins, then come on over and stay for a while,( or at least until you are shot and killed) :-)

Hell yea Tulsa has a image problem,we are the laughing stock of the country.My relatives call from out of town making fun of us.They say "Man,y'all have a dead body for breakfast everyday or how many meth fires y'all have last night." A lot of this stuff ends up on national news or local news in other states where they have" Guess what happened in Tulsa last night"reports making fun of us.Our city leaders don't like to admit this but we have an extraordinary amount of violent crime and a drug problem here beyond belief.Tulsa is known to be easy on drug addicts and a lot of dopers come here because drugs are readily available,and it is easy for the addicts to get assistance financially.I know this for a fact as we have one these deadbeats in the family who jokes about getting her 2500 dollar a month "nut check" which is spent in less than 2 days on this crap.It's this rap culture that constantly pounds these kids with this crap for 20 years now.

Watchdog i feel you and agree 100%. I have only been in Tulsa for 2 years but where I come from all this crap is happening there too. Its everywhere. So bump the image crap....that should be the least of our worries. Like you said....there are people dying period and that should be our concern....not Tulsa's image!!

Hate to play the race card, but people are dying on the streets, in their homes, in their driveways, in stores, everywhere everyday and one white guy dies and suddenly the city council is "scratching" their heads? Excuse me, it is horribly tragic that this innnocent man died while shopping with his granddaughter, and I feel so sad for the family, but everyone else who are dying on the streets of Tulsa aren't gangbangers and crimninals, they are people too, and they have families, why the hell haven't these city councilors been concerned before? Does Tulsa have an image problem? Are you freaking kidding me? Where have you idiots been for the past 4 years? Morons!
