Accused Good Friday shooters plead not guilty

A judge entered not guilty pleas for Alvin Watts and Jake England for shooting deaths of three, shooting of two others.

Not excusing Jake England, but Englands father wasn't shot because of a struggle, he was shot because he didn't just sit and allow someone to kick in his door and take what he wanted, if the thief hadn't kicked in the door, England wouldn't have died and this would never have happened, three people who are dead would be alive today. Media likes to make it sound like they just got into a fight, but that wasn't the way it happened, I don't know why the man who killed England wasn't charged with murder, he killed a man in the act of committing an armed burglary.

It is standard court proceedings for defendants to plead not guilty on the initial court appearance. The defense attorneys strongly reccommend pleading not guilty so it allows them more time for litigation and to negotiate plea bargains.
