More than two weeks have passed, and images of a crime scene haven't left Carrie Folsom; the story of an elderly couple, Bob and Nancy Strait.
Their 65 year marriage ended with a violent assault that would ultimately take Nancy’s life. Bob was left with a broken jaw and fractured ribs.
"I (was) raised to always respect your elders,” said Folsom.
She’s been following updates on TV and online. When she heard one person, Tyrone Woodfork, had been arrested for the crime she grew frustrated.
"The fact that there are people out there and they're not saying anything is sickening,” said Folsom.
Police are looking for at least five potential suspects. Folsom wants to help find them, so Monday night. She created a facebook page Justice for Bob and Nancy Strait.
It’s already grabbed quite a following.
"If it has to be my face and my voice to put out there to find this couple, I have to do it," said Folsom.
She figures word of mouth is the best way, and just about everyone is connected online.
"It needs to be known, it’s happening in everybody's back yard," said Folsom.
She never knew the Straits, but it didn't matter.
"She resembles my grandma,” said Folsom.
This weekend, people in the neighborhood will begin an alert neighbors program.
