A mild winter saves city thousands of dollars

Lately, there’s been plenty of sunshine, but very little snow. However, our winter has been peppered with dropping temperatures, which leaves little need for salt.

Any money saved by less snow will likely be offset by fighting the raging wildfires this summer.
