Tulsa police responded to a shooting call around 2 a.m. Sunday at the Villas at Yorktown Apartment Complex in midtown Tulsa.

Officers arrived to the 2100 Block of E. Skelly to speak with the two victims of the shooting, Dewandalyn Holland and Lakisha Jackson.

The two adult females explained they were driving in the parking lot when a dark-colored Tahoe pulled in front of them.

Holland said she stepped out of the car to tell them to move.

The other driver, Joseph Cheatham, stepped out of his vehicle and started firing gunshots at Holland.

Holland took off; Jackson stayed back in her car and followed the Tahoe to their residence in the same apartment complex.

The woman called the Tulsa Police Department.

When officers arrived they explained the situation, and officers confronted the men in the apartment and brought them to be identified by the woman.

The woman positively identified Cheatham as the shooter, and he was then arrested and transported to the Tulsa County Jail.

Joseph Cheatham was booked on two counts of shooting with intent to kill.

His bond is set at $150,000.

CarlS #8 ^]] You pretty much just make it up as you blunder through. Cheatham (sfi) is lucky that none of his rounds hit anyone. That is not the proper way to say howdy neighbor. He'll be eating from a plastic spoon for the next ten years.
