Most owners of pit bulldogs are trying to make up for their own deficiencies. We shoot every one we see running loose.

Let's see ... firemike922 ... patients ... Let me guess ... EMT/Paramedic, right? * EMT arrested after giving undercover reporter $400, forged ID to take his state certification test. (Fraud) * EMT arrested for serving marijuana-laced cookies to underage girls (Drugs; Child Neglect) * EMT arrested after exposing himself in WalMart (Pervert) * EMTs Steal $320,000 from non-profit organization (Thieves) * EMT arrested for possession of destructive device (Terrorist) * EMT arrested after drunk driving and hitting parked car * EMT arrested for punching cab driver (Assault) * EMT arrested for attempted murder of partner while on duty and the list goes on ... So, which one (or more) of these EMTs do you identify with? Doesn't matter, you're all no-good menaces and should be put down.

If cities are not going to ban pit bulls then the next best thing would be to put several restrictions that owners would have to abide by. If they are caught not following the rules and/or their pit bull attacks, then owners will be legally and financially responsible:                 RESTRICTIONS Mandatory spay and neutering Registering dog with police and give a picture of it Muzzle and leash dog while in public Must have an insurance policy Dog must take a training class Adopters must take an educational class and must be informed of the potential dangers if a pit bull were to attack Animal services must do a home check to make sure it is the right environment for the dog and make sure the fences are strong and high enough to keep them from breaking out. When an attack happens, pit bull advocates are quick to excuse it by saying,"It's the owner not the breed." It's true that irresponsible ownership of these dogs is part of the problem, however there has been multiple cases when family pit bulls attacked without being provoked and without warning. What makes them different and more dangerous then most other dogs is not that they attack more but the way they attack. Most dogs growl, bark, even look at you a certain way before they attack and usually don't attack to kill. Pit bulls attack without warning or provocation and usually don't show any aggression help people understand until the second they attack. And when they attack they usually don't stop until their victim is dead or someone intervenes. Unfortunately these restrictions will not stop all the attacks. But it will help people understand the  responsibility that comes with owning these dogs therefore reducing the majority of attacks and make it easier for law enforcement to crack down on illegal dog fighting.

Firemike |~| Just like a Catsup lid go screw off. I have two pit bulls and if they like ya they'll probably find an adequate way to display it. If they don't like ya there must be a good reason (they can read any subterfuge). To just pick a breed and decide that the breed needs killing is pure ignorance. Makes you sound like a shyt bull maybe you need to be exterminated like a pest.

This is felony animal cruelty. How long ago was it when Dobermans were the bad dogs? or German Shepherds? No one breed is inherently dangerous; bad owners can turn any dog. FOX23 shares part of the blame of this fear-mongering.

I'm sorry, but pits should be put down all together. All of the patients that I've seen that have been victim of a dog attack have been attacked by pit bulls. They're a menace.
