A 13-year-old from Broken Arrow Police say Brittany M. Pritchett, 19, and Brandon W. Brunson, 35, tortured a 13-year-old girl from Broken Arrow.

"She was held against her will. She was sexually assaulted,” says Major Carole Newell. "Some of the sexual acts were videotaped."

Police say Pritchett told the girl she wanted to meet and go to a park to talk about her break-up with Brunson. Authorities say the girl didn't tell her parents where she was going.

Police say when the 13-year-old got in the car with Pritchett, she was in trouble.

"When he revealed himself and she knew she was in trouble. They would not let her out of the car. At that point she was held against her will," says Newell.

It was that night when police say Pritchett and Brunson raped the girl multiple times, injected her with what is believed to meth and videotaped the sexual assaults.

Police say the victim's parents called police that night and reported her missing. Authorities say a neighbor saw the victim get in the car with Pritchett but It wasn't until the next morning did police track down Pritchett on her cellphone in Haskell.

Police say when they called Pritchett Monday morning an hour-and-a-half later the suspects returned the girl to her neighborhood.

"Mom and dad did everything right. She went to go meet a friend. She didn't tell them and in her mind it wasn't a huge deal," says Newell.

Later that day police say they served a search warrant of the couples’ home and arrested the suspects.

Newell says this should be a warning to every teen to be always let your parents know where you are.

"For the record this is what can happen if you do. So make sure mom and dad know where you are and who are with at all times," says Newell.

When FOX23 stopped by the couples' home in Haskell the landlord already had a “For Rent” sign up and Brunson’s family was packing up their stuff.

Brunson’s sister says she believes her brother is innocent but hopes the victim will heal.

"It's awful. I can't explain it in any more words to explain what's happened. It's just an awful thing that happened," says Lacie Marvel. "You can love somebody and not like who they are and what they have done."

Arrest reports show Pritchett and Brunson are charged with kidnapping, first-degree rape, manufacturing child pornography and assault with a dangerous weapon.

The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office says Brunson and Pritchett each are being held in its county jail on $500,000 bond.

Broken Arrow Police say they face charges in Wagoner County because that’s where the crime, kidnapping, started.

The Wagoner District Attorney’s office says it expects to file formal charges next week.

Oklahoma Department of Corrections records show Brunson has spent a total of seven years in the Oklahoma State Penitentiary for robbery, assault, weapons, drugs and fraud.

Court records show Pritchett received a deferred sentence earlier this year for drugs.

Under Oklahoma law a 13-year-old cannot legally consent to sex.

Police say the biggest red flag for teenagers is when a friend tells them not to tell mom and dad about their friendship.
