I'm thankful for all the people who do good things for people who serve others, your grandson included, keep up the good work. I'm also thankful for RD using his fame for something worthy!!! I am so tired of people who are famous for no reason at all, being glorified for their sex tapes. YUK!!!! Your grandson can have someone to look up to for the right reasons and that's good. Fame has a price, one I wouldn't want to pay, but RD has a gift for writing songs and expressing thoughts that many people can't find the words to say. giving back just makes him more human and humble, and that is always a good thing :)

It is a great thing that RD and the Mata's did. It started with a single comment about buying a police officers lunch on 911 and in less than 24 hours turned into buying the entire police and fire departments lunch. Great job to everyone involved! Kim

Molly, you shouldn't be hating! What your grandson did was wonderful and he is being raised well, but I personally am grateful to someone who is famous doing something for the people who serve all of us, was in the military myself. I would rather hear about Ronnie Dunn feeding the first responders than him going into rehab or all the stupid stuff half of hollywood is doing and calling it news. Don't be bitter, be grateful...good things come to those who wait and what goes around comes around.

When my grandson raised puppies and sold them so he'd have enough money to buy a vehicle when he became 16 yrs old, he always spent the cost of one puppy to feed fireman. Never saw that in the papers. Guess you have to be rich and famous.
