Tulsa police released two 911 calls made after shots were fired at the downtown courthouse plaza on Wednesday.
In both calls the callers tell dispatchers what is happening, one caller gives a play by play of what is happening and is on the phone with the dispatcher as she sees Deputy David Fortenberry get shot. Fortenberry and a bystander were shot on Wednesday afternoon after a man opened fire in the courthouse plaza downtown. The suspected gunman, Andrew Dennehy was also shot.
Fortenberry had surgery for bullet wounds to his hands and was released from the hospital on Friday morning. Ricardo Manuel, the bystander is in fair condition. The suspected gunman, Andrew Dennehy, is in ICU at another Tulsa hospital.
