We’re hearing from the families of two murdered girls after investigators make part of a 911 tape public. They hope it will lead to more clues that will help them find the killer, or killers.
13 year old Taylor Paschal-Placker and 11 year old Skyla Whitaker were found six weeks ago, shot to death, on a dirt road in Weleetka, not far from Taylor's house.
Here’s an excerpt from the 911 call made after the girls were found.
Dispatcher: "What happened now?"
Caller: "I don't know. They were walking and they're both dead."
Dispatcher: "They're dead?"
Caller: "They're dead."
Dispatcher: "Your granddaughter?"
Caller: "Yes and her friend."
Dispatcher: "Okay. Where is this at?"
Caller: "I'm on County Line road."
