A young Sapulpa girl dies from injuries received in a car crash on February 1st.

Investigators say 4-year-old Temperance Aimsworth and a 9-year-old were inside of a car that was slowing down at an intersection between Highway 33 and 193rd. W. Ave. As the car began to slow down, to turn onto 193 W. Ave., a pickup hit the car from behind. Both children inside the car were transported to Saint Francis Hospital.

The four-year-old died around 10 p.m. Saturday. The 9-year-old was reported to be in stable condition. The drivers of both vehicles only suffered from minor injuries, and were released.

Temperance was the only person not wearing a seat belt.

This is EXTREMELY sad news. A life that was taken before it even had a chance to start-that precious little girl. I can't figure out WHY all of them were seat-belted except for Temperance. Could she have undone her's for some reason? The family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
