Three break-ins in just two days.

FOX23 dug through the Owasso police records and found that thieves are breaking into cars.

Our crew went to Owasso Saturday and spoke with the victims and find out what happened and what was stolen.

The two people we talked with today tell us their doors were locked so thieves broke a window to get what was inside.

16 year-old Kyle Deck takes pride in his 2000 Mustang GT. That's why he was furious when he saw someone messed with it.

"The window had been smashed in. It was all laid on the ground and everything. My car was all torn up and everything was everywhere.

And then all my tires were flat," Deck explained.

A lot of damage for what he says the thieves took.

"I only had a few dollars in there."

Deck wasn't the only person who woke up with a surprise Wednesday morning.

FOX23 drove less than a mile and found a woman who became the victim of a similar experience.

Both stories strikingly the same.

"My window was busted out and there's glass all over here and all inside the car," Kelly Goodwin said.

She had already paid to replace before our cameras got there. She has spent a lot of money and trouble for what was swiped.

"The only thing they took was a pack of cigarettes. So I have to trade a $300 window for a pack of cigarettes," Goodwin told FOX23.

The next night, Owasso police records show someone busted out a widow the window of another car, car just down the road.

All three break-ins are very close together, and Deck and Goodin Goodwin want it to end.

"It just feels weird to know that people were in my car going through everything," Goodwin said.

"Get a job. Go get a job. You don't have to go and destroy other people's property just to get something small that you want," said Deck.

Those break-ins were three of the six reported to Owasso police this week.

Police tell FOX23 they are seeing some break ins where thieves just open the door and take what they want because the car was unlocked.

They ask that everyone lock both their cars and homes.

Real shame that some people can't keep their hands off of other peoples possessions.
