A terrible accident on the Will Rogers Turnpike in Miami has claimed the lives of three people. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 37-year-old Irma Garcia, 22-year-old Douglas Monzon and 31-year-old Leonor Alcano were killed when their vehicle lost control Thursday and plummeted off a bridge into the icy Spring River. A massive rescue operation was attempted but crews were unable to save everyone before the cold temperatures claimed lives. Five people did survive the crash and are recovering from hypothermia.
