A 21-year-old Broken Arrow man died in a single car collision in Ottawa County around 2:06 a.m. Sunday.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that Dayton Wilson was pronounced dead on scene from head injuries. Wilson was a passenger of a 2010 Dodge Avenger, driven by 26-year-old Zachary Wofford.

The OHP report claims Wofford fell asleep while driving westbound on the I-44 Will Rogers Turnpike. The vehicle hit a concrete barrier, then traveled north into a ditch, rolling three times before coming to a stop on its wheels.

Wofford refused treatment on the scene. The third passenger was uninjured.

His name is not DALTON or DAYTON, it is DAYTONA Wilson. What kind of backwoods reporting is this. Show more respect for people who have been lost by at least getting their names right.
