Brandon's mother Amy said, "He was pretty much a typical kid with XBOX, Nintendo, the whole 9 yards, but something about kids dying really grabbed a hold of him and you saw an immediate change in him and you saw light bulbs."
Amy has been supporting him. But just listen to Brandon, and you know, no one's forcing him to do anything. This is all his idea and what will probably be the first of many world changing ideas to come.
Brandon said, "I think I can reach my goal, and if I keep on doing it, hopefully I can change that part of the world and move on to a new part. Just start changing countries in Africa and go all over Africa and teaching about this ... you don't have to wait until you're old to make a difference. You can always start early."
