ADAIR, Ok —

High winds blew through Green Country earlier this evening and left behind a swath of damage.

The hardest hit area is in the community of Adair in Mayes County where numerous roofs have been blown from buildings, trees blown over and power lines knocked down.

We spoke earlier to Mike Dunham with the Mayes County Emergency Management; he had reports of damage in Adair, and additional damage near HWY 69 off of Dry Gulch Road.

Storms developed late this afternoon along a slow-moving cold front that continues across the state tonight.

FOX23 Chief Meteorologist James Aydelott says additional storms development is not likely tonight.

The FOX23 Severe Weather Team is tracking down additional damage reports and we will have a complete wrap-up of today's events tonight at 9 and 10.

This is the same area where an EF-0 tornado hit late last month causing damage to the Adair Fire Department.
