• Second victim dies from midtown Tulsa shooting

    Tulsa, OK - Hours after a deadly double shooting outside a midtown Tulsa apartment complex, Tulsa police detectives made an arrest.

    Tulsa police said the shooting happened just before 2 p.m. Monday at 4747 South Darlington.

    That's where Police say an argument broke-out in the parking lot between three people in an SUV arguing with a guy and a girl. Witness's report that there were multiple shots fired before the assailants sped away. 21-year-old Verdell Walker was killed and 22-year-old Tiara Sawyer died from her injuries Tuesday. 

    Police detectives credit numerous witnesses with helping them to identify the suspect and the car seen leaving the scene.

    Quickly TPD detectives, along with Jenks Police and agents with the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force setup surveillance on a home located on the 700 block of South Gum in Jenks.

    After getting a ride by an unsuspecting family member, 22-year-old Isaac Ashton was arrested at the home.

     Ashton has been booked into the Tulsa County jail for murder and other warrants.
