TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa police have made an arrest in the shooting that injured a baby Saturday.
DaJuan Smith, 18, of Tulsa was arrested Sunday.
Police say Smith fired the shots that hit a car at least a dozen times Saturday on the streets of north Tulsa.
Three people were inside the car at the time, two adults and an 11-month-old boy, who police say was cut by shattered glass.
The car ended up at a house near 4600 N. Elgin Avenue, about a mile away from where the victims told police they were targeted, at 3600 North Lansing.
Relatives of the victims told FOX23 the baby is out of the hospital and expected to be OK.
The suspect, Smith, told police he didn’t fire the gun, but the arrest report says, Smith also gave detectives three different stories about where he was at the time of the shooting.
The report also says the victims identified Smith as the shooter.
