TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa police have arrested a man wanted out of Jenks for lewd or indecent proposals to a child and for soliciting sexual conduct or communication with a minor through technology.
Court documents say 63-year-old Joe Saucedo Guerrero sent nude photos and inappropriate texts to who he thought was a 14-year-old girl.
Back in October, a Jenks detective used an undercover profile of a 14-year-old girl named Tina to post a message on the Whisper app saying that she was bored and that her mom was gone for the weekend.
Within minutes, someone with screen name “joeawsome” replied and suggested going to a movie with him, according to the court documents.
The man reportedly continued to communicate with “Tina,” even after he clarified that he was 48 and she was 14. According to the documents, he called her “baby” and asked her for a picture.
The suspect then allegedly sent a nude photo of himself, claimed it was an accident and continued to ask if she would cuddle with him.
Documents say the suspect sent multiple nude photos over the next several weeks and continued the conversation. He reportedly said on multiple occasions he wanted to “make love” to the teen and take her virginity. Court documents allege that he tried to meet up with her numerous times.
Police say Guerrero demonstrated “grooming” throughout this conversation, telling her she was beautiful and calling her baby.
Police also say he has multiple young girls on his Facebook page, which is another cause for concern.
