Drone footage is popping up in storm aftermath as people survey the damage left behind.
Now, could drones be the next step in weather forecasting? FOX23’s Ben Walnick learned about new technology and weather forecasting.
"We are actually relaying that information back to the National Weather Service and the Storm Prediction Center. So they can actually use that to help them forecast on a day like today which is actually a pretty complicated forecast,” one expert told FOX23.
