• Fires break out across Green Country

TULSA, Okla. - Fires broke out across Green Country Tuesday.

The fires happened as strong winds blew through the area.

A fire near Bartlesville threatened homes and caused crews to close Highway 123.

Firefighters battled a fire southeast of Foraker as well. It damaged two homes that officials believe were vacant.

Another Osage County fire burned between Wynona and Barnsdall.

Crews were able to bring a Pittsburg County fire under control earlier in the day. Multiple fire departments said they were able to stop it from getting too close to area homes.
