• Family of Terence Crutcher speaks after defense rests their case

TULSA, Okla. - The family of Terence Crutcher spoke on Tuesday afternoon.

The defense rested their case on Tuesday. Closing arguments are scheduled for Wednesday morning.

    WATCH it here:

Shannon McMurray, Shelby's defense attorney, released a comment reacting to the allegations, saying:

"You know what my comment is? I'm not going to dignify that with a comment."

The Tulsa FOP responded to the conference as well, saying:

We express our deepest condolences to the Crutcher family for having to relive the tragic loss of their loved one through the course of this trial. Although we sympathize with the family, we stand by our decision to educate the public on the facts of this case through social media. We have only raised issues that were first raised in court, like Mr. Crutcher having active warrants. Everything we have done has not been to inflame the situation but to educate the public on police protocol. Very soon, we will have a verdict in this case and the hope for everyone is we will find peace with whatever decision is made. "
