Police and medics called a man lucky after a crash early Friday morning in north Tulsa.
The driver told police he was texting while driving around 2 a.m. near 46th and Peoria.
At some point, he went around some barriers and crashed, the car turning over.
He was pinned for almost five hours. Crews rescued him around 7 a.m.
Medics took him to St. John for treatment. The driver hurt his arm but is otherwise OK.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
