    Turn around… you don’t have to get a little bit lonely during Monday’s Great American Eclipse.

    This once-in-a-lifetime event can be enjoyed in a variety of ways around Green Country

    The Boxyard

    Join this retail space as they partner with the STEMcell Science shop for an eclipse viewing party. More than 200 people RSVP’d going on Facebook. Children are welcome. Bring your own eclipse glasses or viewer.


    Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area

    Turkey Mountain’s festivities begin at 11 a.m., with activities for children and adults to learn more about the cosmic event. Bring your own glasses or viewer.


    Eclipse Watch Party on the Green

    Guthrie Green invites Tulsans to enjoy the eclipse with a little yoga at 11:30. From 12:30 to 2 p.m., enjoy the Great American Eclipse to the sound of Dark Side of the Moon, played by Spinster Records. Bring your own glasses.


    Your Local Library

    Libraries around Green Country are hosting watch parties. Central Library asks guests to register HERE, where they will have glasses in limited availability, along with face painting, constellation simulations and a photo booth. Zarrow Regional Library offers the first 50 guests NASA approved viewing glasses, and plans to serve light refreshments. Check your local library for other possible events!


    Tulsa Children’s Museum

    The Discovery Lab celebrates the once-in-a-generation event with a watch party featuring solar system-related activities and free glasses for the first 300 guests. The museum does not require registration and all outside activities are free. Admission to the museum is $6. If cloudy weather covers the eclipse, the museum plans to show the NASA live stream inside.


    Cherry Street Rooftop Yoga

    First-come, first-serve yoga is planned by the Cherry St. Weekend Rooftop Yoga. Bring your own glasses if you want to look up. The event happens on the north side of 15th east of Peoria. A sign will be out on the sidewalk.


    Brookside Collective

    Brookside Collective offers the first 50 people to watch the eclipse with free viewing glasses and an ice pop from the Pop House. Bluestem BBQ plans to set up their food truck at the event as well.


    Rooftop Viewing Party at Boston Avenue Methodist Church

    The historical landmark in downtown opens its roof to viewers, along with a prayer of Thanksgiving just after maximum eclipse clears at 1:08. Though the church plans to have a few glasses on hand, bring your own to ensure you can look!


    Total Eclipse of the Arts and Sciences


    Tulsa Sooners are invited to check out the eclipse at the Tulsa College of Arts and Sciences. All OU-Tulsa CAS students, faculty and staff can get free t-shirts, along with safety glasses and popsicles while supplies last. 

    Watch Party at Veterans Park

    The Community Service Council hosts a solar eclipse part for staff and families from 11:30 to 1:30, with a hot dog lunch cooked by CSC CEO Kevin Burr. 


    Montereau Grand Lawn

    Join senior residents on the Grand Lawn of Monterau- 6800 S. Granite Ave, Tulsa, OK 74136 from 12:45 to 1:30. Some glasses will be available and themed desserts will be served.
