Darren, you guys who got to the women and pulled them from the fires are the true heroes. I said so in my original article, and I thank God you were able to get to them in time. Honestly, I give you folks all the credit.

My name is Darren Thomas I'm the one who pulled the handicap lady from the car. We were in front of the car that caught fire my kids were outside the truck taking pics and my boy said their car is on fire I jumped out and ran to the car and saw a woman in the back seat that could not get out as I was trying to get her out the tire blew. I knew time was limited so grabbed her. And pulled her out. I could not lift her myself so I dragged her to a safeplace at that time another man said ill help you pick her up and we carried her to the edge of the parking lot. At that time a man pulled his truck up to us and we put her in the truck where it was more comfy for her. She kept saying my shoe my shoe. It fell of as I was trying to get her out. I told her we would buy her a new one. Hope they are all ok I had to get back to my truck where my wife had pulled it up to a safe distance. We were the car in front of the car.
