A new valve will lead to a water outage for customers in rural Creek County on Monday.
Water will be shut off to customers in Rural Water District #2 while contractors put in a new valve. The areas affected are from 141st Street South to 181st street south and customers east of 33rd west avenue as far as Harvard Ave. In Kiefer the Brownstone Cottages, Evergreen and Maplewood will be affected.
Customers are encouraged to fill containers with water to use during the outage.
