A water main has burst and the street in front of Booker T. Washington High School is flooding.

The City of Tulsa crew working on the site says they had to shut off the water to the high school but workers hope to have it back on by the time school starts in the morning.

Crew members told FOX23 they aren't 100 percent sure they can repair the broken water main by tomorrow morning, but they are hopeful.

FOX23 is still on the scene while crews try to repair the break. There is water flowing out of the large hole in the road and also gushing out of a nearby fire hydrant. Tulsa City crews suggest avoiding the area.
