Wanted robber watches FOX23, turns himself in

A robber wanted for allegedly biting a woman in a Craigslist hold up sees a report about him being wanted on FOX23 News and turns himself into police.

Leandre Tillis, 21, was wanted for charged he held two two young women in an East Tulsa Apartment complex on Aug. 1

Records show Tillis and Lakeisha Johnson were charged with joint robbery. Tillis is accused of biting one of the young victims and the Johnson is accused of threatening the women with a gun.

Johnson was arrested on Aug. 14 and still in custody.

FOX23 News spoke to the alleged victims who say they traveled an hour out of town to buy the iPhone and knew something was suspicious when they changed meeting plans.
