I have used Do Grogan for many years. I know him as a kind and very patient man and excellent with dogs and cats. I have and will recommend him and his clinic in the future.

There has been a complaint against him. A few years ago a friend of mine took his dog in to have his teeth cleaned. The proceedure took all day, even though they originally told him a few hours. At the end of the day they told him his dog was dead, and they would dispose of the body. My friend demanded to see his dog. The dead dog they showed him was not his. Finally they located his dog, the dog was not dead, but barely alive. The "doctor" did nothing to attempt to save him, and could not explain why a teeth cleaning turned out so badly. The "doctor" attempted to collect a large bill from my friend. This was all turned over to the Veterinary Board. Grogan was supposed to retire, but never did. I had one visit to Grogan in 1983, I found him to be very uncompassionate and aloof so I never went back. I am sorry I didn't do more to discourage people from taking their pets to this idiot.
