A man and woman are in custody after leading police on high speed chase near the University of Tulsa.

Jarod Linthicum and Brandy Rudlang-Reed were arrested this afternoon.

Tulsa police say Linthicum was spotted in a stolen vehicle in the 300 Block of South Lewis. When officers attempted to pull him over, he sped off.

The arrest report states his girlfriend, Rudlang-Redd tried to block officers in the stolen vehicle she was in.

Linthicum crashed as he attempted to enter Interstate 244. He then ran, but was quickly taken into custody.

Police used spikes to stop Rudlang-Reed, but she kept going until she hit crashed at 14th and Delaware.

After she crashed, she got out of the truck and ran.

She hid inside a home. A K9 officer was brought in.  When she resisted the dog, she was bitten by the K9. She was released from the hospital Friday evening, and booked into the Tulsa County Jail.

Police say the pair were trying to sell stolen cars on Craigslist.

The University of Tulsa sent the following message to students warning them of the situation:

TU sent an all clear message to students after the situation ended.

Their life of crime has come to an end, and I hope that the two of them will spend a long enough time in jail TO give it some serious thought of what they've done. But then again, most criminal's don't!
