A Tulsa man arrested twice in one day.

Jaxson Hall was arrested early Thursday morning after leading Tulsa police on a chase that ended in the drive-thru of a midtown Taco Bell.

Around 2:00 am officers tried to pull over a car for a traffic violation near 8th and Lewis. Hall took off, and drove to a Taco Bell near 11th and Harvard, across from the University of Tulsa. He tried to speed through the drive-thru, but hit a car, and took down part of a fence. After that he ran out of the car, and officers chased him to the TU campus, where they arrested him.

Hall was booked on charges of traffic violations, eluding police, and resisting arrest.

He was released from jail shortly after 11:00am Thursday. 45 minutes later he was back in cuffs.

The arrest report states Hall was spotted at Storey Wrecker at 300 W. Archer.  The officer recognized him from a burglary that occurred February 22nd.

The officers followed Hall as he left the business. A few blocks away Hall began to run, jumping multiple barbed wire fences, and hiding in a dumpster.

Police say he stopped near the train tracks on Cheyenne Avenue.

There was a struggle to get Hall into custody.

Hall was booked for burglary and obstruction of a police officer.

Following his arrest, Hall agreed to talk with officers about the burglary at Cricket Wireless at 5073 S. Yale Avenue on February 22nd.

He told officers he has a drug problem and owed his dealer money. He admitted the dealer pointed a gun to his head and demanded money.

Hall said he drove the dealer and his girlfriend to the wireless store.   He then threw a rubber object through the glass window.  Hall used that as a distraction to enter the back on the business.

Hall admitted he opened the safe using the keypad combination and took the bank bags containing cash. He admitted to giving the drug dealer the money.

Well, here is a light side to the first run away. There was a guy in taco bell while I was there and I overheard that he had cleaned the peoples driveway and the taco bell drive thru just because he wanted to help. He said he didn't care about recognition and that he just likes to help people as much as he can. Go neighbor like guy!!!
