Tulsa bank fined for charging higher rates to Hispanic customers

People's Bank of Tulsa is facing a $20,000 fine after the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ruled it was unfairly charging higher interest rates to Hispanic people for car loans.

Yeah kind of like the IRS and NSA targeting conservatives isn't it? Obviously this bank is more interested in cheating their customers than actually helping them....reminds me of the Company Stores of the coal mining communities in the past.

If these people weren't here illegally this wouldn't be a problem for them. Instead of fining the bank we should be deporting those people.

At one time I considered peoples as a preferred bank. I'm not so sure how to view them now. I'm not in disagreement with fining the bank bim just not sure how it helps the people that were actually defrauded.
