Ten Commandments monument misspelled, will be fixed

The Oklahoma lawmaker who paid for a new Ten Commandments monument at the state Capitol says two misspellings carved into granite will be fixed this weekend.

@siegelfire are you implying that this religious monument on state property is somehow constitutional? I must not be too clear on the Establishment Clause perhaps you could enlighten me, because from what i understand this would be in direct violation, privately funded or not, based on previous Supreme Court interpretations.

Unwashed, you should actually read the constitution.......it doesn't say what you imply......and if you read the commentaries from those who wrote it, you will realize you interpretation is not correst either. The ARROGANCE of some people.

The monument itself came from private pockets, but it will be the taxpayers that pay all the court battles for what is clearly against the constitution. The arrogance of some lawmakers.

Like the hispanics...they actually care about what they do unlike a lot of Americans anymore,I mean who will work the hardest a 300 pound kid who has laid up under the air conditioner playing playstation with everything handed to him or a kid who grew up poor working on a farm,the 47% that don't work are being subsidized by the people who do work
